Schedule Set for Dinner Series Held at Popular Maine Farm
Warmer weather in Maine means being able to enjoy all the finer things this state has to offer.
One of Maine's true joys in the summer is getting back outside to experience a fine meal or two. There's nothing like outdoor dining, something we miss out on for the majority of the year.
One of those great outdoor dining experiences comes from the iconic catering company Black Tie. The Portland-based cooks are an absolute monster when it comes to special food and drink events, especially a certain series they put on every summer. This series is called Graze.
Started back in the summer of 2013, the Graze dinner series is a way for Mainers and tourists alike to enjoy local farm-to-table meals paired with a local beverage company. Hosted at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, the night includes hors d’oeuvres, live music, and signature cocktails, followed by a four-course dinner put on by Black Tie. Every course gets paired with a beverage from a local brewery, cidery, or winery, and typically, one or two representatives from the beverage company are there to describe the styles that are highlighted. This all takes place in a large tent right on the beautiful Pineland Farms' grounds.
Graze is a wonderful way to eat delicious food and drink while enjoying the beauty of Pineland Farms. It's also supporting local Maine companies highlighting fresh and sustainable ingredients. What is more Maine than that?
The 2024 Graze schedule was recently released. Here is a look at what this year has in store.
June 14: Graze with Austin Street Brewery
July 26: Graze with Lone Pine Brewing
Aug 9: Graze with Portland Zoo
Sept 13: Graze with Après Craft Seltzer
Oct 9: Graze with Eighteen Twenty Wines
This is quite the all-star lineup for 2024. Black Tie clearly knows the way to the heart of Mainers (and this author).
Tickets are available now and tend to sell quickly. You can buy them here, as well as find out more information on these great dining nights.
Who knows, maybe I will see you at one of these events this summer, a season that just can't get here fast enough.
