Nosh Kitchen Bar in Portland, Maine, is Officially For Sale
According to LoopNet, Nosh Kitchen Bar has hit the market looking for new ownership. The business along with furniture, fixtures and equipment is being listed for $350,000 via Malone Commercial Brokers.
Nosh Kitchen Bar was opened by restauranteur Jason Loring at the beginning of 2010. According to Portland Food Map, Loring then sold Nosh to a new ownership group in the summer of 2022.
Nosh quickly grew its reputation in Portland, Maine, thanks to creative and indulgent burgers as well as its signature bacon dusted fries. The restaurant was even featured on a episode of Man v. Food on Travel Channel.
The Nosh Brand in Portland, Maine, Has Struggled Recently
With any new ownership taking over an established brand, there can be bumps in the road. Nosh Kitchen Bar has tried altering their menu to adjust to customer behavior and interest. So far, those changes haven't been met with as much enthusiasm as hoped.
There was also the failed Nosh Taco experiment. The small restaurant in Canal Plaza only lasted about a year before it closed permanently.
