Aldi is Paying a Decent Wage
The press release said that the grocery store chain is also increasing it's national average hourly pay. Positions will be $18 and $23 per hour depending if you are working in the store or the warehouse.
At $23 per hour, based on a 40 hour work week, 52 weeks per year, that's a little less than $50K per year. Not too shabby.
Recently, Aldi also announced it would be opening new stores across the country.
I am not quite ready to retire, but when I do, I will go back to the first job I ever had, which was a cashier, first at my Mom and Dad's store, next at a local IGA.

Employee wages are a huge expense for any company, however, if you pay your employees well, it is a greater chance that they will stay with you for a long time.
Combine good pay with a good atmosphere and great bosses, you've got a winning combination.
Go get yourself a new job!
