Swanky Boston, Massachusetts, Hotel Has Year-Round Rooftop Pool and Stunning City Views
There are times when people from all over New England head to Boston for an event that is not coming anywhere near where they live. For instance, a lot of people had plans to stay over in Bean Town when Aerosmith's Peace Out Tour was heading to Fenway Park on December 31, 2024, but we know how that turned out.
Regardless of the event, you might want to consider a stay at the luxurious Omni Hotel at the Seaport in Boston. It's pure decadence. By the way, I am not getting paid for these words. I just think the place is beee-you-tee-ful.
The rooftop pool is heated and open year-round. Of course, they have a hot tub available, too, if you'd prefer. Both have amazing views of Boston from the comfort of the water. Imagine...it is 10 degrees in Boston, and you are in the hot tub sipping a lovely glass of cognac in the warm water. Bliss.
Omni Hotel Seaport Boston Restaurants
You will find amazing restaurants at the Omni Boston, of course. Surprisingly, they are a little higher than "normal" restaurants, but not as much as I expected. And the food will certainly be unforgettable.
Experience Boston in the Most Unique Way
When you stay at the Omni, you can also experience some incredible adventures like a private helicopter ride around the city, and private cooking classes.

You may have heard me say that I love to live the luxury lifestyle on a budget. Who doesn't, right? Well, I just found out that this is not one of those places. I mean, maybe, if you have a ton more money than I do.
I called the Omni Hotel just to check on availability, because when I looked online, it looked like there was nothing available. I told the nice woman who answered the phone that I was just inquiring about rates for one night. Here's what she had to say. And by the way, ignore the quotes. I'm paraphrasing, but this is the gist:
- Nice lady on the phone: "If you are looking to book for, say, tonight, the more affordable rooms, our Artist Tower Guest Room, would be a daily best of $487.94.
- Me: "Okay, what if I wanted the nicest room?" (I tried to put on my fancy voice....)
- NLOTP: "We have a Presidential Suite/Penthouse that is approximately 2,000 square feet, has a POOL TABLE, a dining room with a table for up to six people, a large bathroom, etc., for approximately $5,000 per night. If you wanted it for the weekend, it would be $17,568.00."
- Me: *Silence*
- NLOTP: "We also have a smaller room, the Luxury Suite/Director/Choreographer Suite with 1,600 square feet for $31,542.00 for three nights."
- Me: Confused and silent. Finally, I say, "Why is the Presidential Suite less expensive than the smaller luxury suite?"
- NLOTP: "I can connect you with our manager who might be able to help?"
- Me: (Acting now....) "No, that's fine. Thank you for your help."
WOWZERS.
The Omni Hotel at the Seaport in Boston is very, very expensive, yes. BUT, it's also worth it. There's a part of me that says, "Why not?" At the very least, you could go to the hotel and have a drink at the bar or sit in their lobby. Believe me, they won't question whether or not you're a guest. They want to show the place off, so, I'll meet you in the lobby and buy the first round of martinis. After a couple of those, we won't care about the price of the rooms.
