Sometimes there's "I'm so hungry," and then there's "I'm so hungry that I could take on an incredible meal that seems impossible to complete."

New Hampshire has its fair share of food challenges at various restaurants in the state, but there's one that takes ice cream to the next level.

Let's just say it's a dessert mountain of epic proportions... or portions.

Sweet Food Challenge at The Ice Cream Bar in New Hampshire

At The Ice Cream Bar in Hillsborough, New Hampshire, there's a food challenge where your eyes might be bigger than your stomach.

It's called the Hedge Hog Mountain Sundae Challenge.

According to WMUR, it's almost 25 scoops of ice cream and is named after the nearby Hedgehog Mountain.

As The Ice Cream Bar put it when introducing the challenge in 2024, "A Jeep rides through the Coconut Waffle Chip Trees down a bumpy road of Brownie Crumble and Toasted Marshmallows over 12 Flavors of Ice Cream into the Whipped Cream and Cherry Bottom."

Oh, and it's over three pounds of ice cream.

How to Win the Hedge Hog Mountain Sundae Challenge

It sounds simple enough to tackle this food challenge: Finish it all in 30 minutes.

You got this, right?

If you can devour all the ice cream in the time frame, you'll score a gift card, a shirt, bragging rights and your picture on the wall.

No one has been able to do it yet, but there have been some close contenders.

Think you can do it? Carry your own spoon to tackle ice cream challenges?

You might just be the first person to earn the honors of being the Hedge Hog Sundae Challenge champ.

Sounds pretty sweet... and so does the ice cream.
