In fact, there's 50 acres of fun, and it's now fully open for the season.

If you haven't ever been to this ideal family spot, or haven't gone in many years like me, maybe you thought they only had ice cream.  Nah, it's more like the Disney of the North Shore.

Kimball Farm has been around since 1939. It has grown exponentially in the 84 years since its humble beginning as a dairy farm, and then owners Jack and Clara added an ice cream parlor where the woodshed was.

According to kimballfarm.com, the farm is still family-run, and they take pride in providing family fun for the region.

Here's What You Need to Know

In 1989, they opened their Carlisle, Massachusetts, location, then Jaffrey, New Hampshire, in 1995, and finally a store in Lancaster, Massachusetts, in 2010.

Their ice cream is legendary, and it's all made in the Westford location.

The Westford location expanded to include bumper boats, an arcade, seafood grill, country store, driving range, bumper cars, batting cages, a nine-hole pitch & putt, zipline, music series, specialty nights, animal adventures, mini golf, and outback tap shack.

It's free to go to Kimball Farms, but the activities do have fees. You can buy tickets on site for individual activities, or a combo pass.
