Actor Robert Downey Jr., known for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Iron Man, and many other notable roles like Sherlock Holmes, recently visited the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA.

Fun fact: MIT is actually where Iron Man aka Tony Stark attended school.

According to Boston.com, Robert Downey Jr. was seen visiting one of MIT's pioneering programs, taking in the school's architecture, and riding a bike around Boston and Cambridge.

It is safe to assume that Robert Downey Jr. has been around Cambridge for a while now. He has been periodically posting photos from MIT for about two weeks and the earliest evidence of him being on the campus is from July 27th.

According to Mass Live.com, Robert Downey Jr.'s visit to MIT is approximately one year after the school allowed Marvel to use MIT as a backdrop for their upcoming film, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever."
