What's there to say when it comes to an award-winning television series with a cult following  that's so beyond loved, touching millions of women around the world?  Anything relating to HBO's smash hit Sex and the City still gets new and old fans excited.  Whether you took the infamous quiz and discovered you were a Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, or Miranda, or decided on your own which friend you related to the most, these girlfriends had an incredible impact.  I've seen the entire series at least three times, and just finished the season finale of the Sex and the City spinoff, And Just Like That.  I'm so thrilled there's going to be a third season, which was just announced.

I've seen both Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2 three times, and am loving And Just Like That.  I love all the main characters, including Miranda Hobbs (played by Cynthia Nixon) so I would have been beyond giddy with excitement if I had been at J's Oyster in Portland when she was spotted eating lunch there.

I'm also loving Cynthia Nixon in HBO's television series The Gilded Age.  It's by Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes, is set in New York City, and the second season will premiere in October.  WOO HOO!

By the way, circling back to And Just Like That, did you know that a beverage made in Maine called Green Bee Craft Beverages made an appearance in the show?  How fun is that?  You can click here to read more.
