Maine Adaptive’s 34th Ski-A-Thon This Month!
Wanna be inspired? Then make plans to be a part of the 34th Maine Adaptive Ski-A-Thon!
It's coming right up on March 23rd. This event provides an opportunity for all levels of adaptive athletes to come together. And it's more than just an amazing fundraiser to benefit all the services of Maine Adaptive. It's an annual meeting, a family reunion, a closing ceremony for the winter season, or the opening ceremony for a summer of adaptive sports opportunities.
More than 400 Maine Adaptive students, volunteers, and community members will gather on the slopes of their host partner, Sunday River, to celebrate the accomplishments and successes of disabled athletes of all ages who participate in Maine Adaptive’s year-round sport and recreation programming. The theme for this year’s event is, Superheroes! If you want share your inner Super Hero, consider joining us.
Lori Voornas from the Q Morning Show will be hosting along with Steve Minich from WMTW 8.
