Casey Marsh is so close to winning, and we can get her there!

The chef of Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro, throws an annual competition called The Greatest Baker. Over 47,000 bakers entered the competition in hopes of winning for the grand prize, which includes meeting the cake boss himself.

Oh, it also includes $10,000 and a feature in Baked from Scratch magazine. The 47,000 bakers have been widdled down to eight, and Casey Marsh from Wells, Maine, is one of them!

She told News Center Maine,

I didn't think that it would turn into what it has, you know. I've had a lot of support from the community in the last like few weeks and everything, so it's just great. It feels good.

Casey has been baking since she was a kid and opened a bakery out of her home, Baked by Cam, in 2008. She started thinking she was good at it when other people who aren't obligated to say nice things (family) started complimenting her work!

This is her Margaritaville cake, which was one of her favorites. What would Casey do with the prize money if she won? She would love to open a storefront in Wells!
