Maine CDC Warning Mainers Of Possible Measles Exposure
The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention is warning residents of southern Maine about potential exposure to measles late late month, according to the Associated Press.
The report says the Massachusetts Department of Public Health notified the Maine CDC of a confirmed case of the disease in a Massachusetts resident who visited two businesses in Maine on March 27. The businesses were Skin Clinic in Falmouth and Maine Centers for Healthcare Endoscopy in Westbrook.
According to the article, the Maine CDC says it has notified both facilities and is working with them to make sure people who were potentially exposed are aware.
