Thanksgiving is one of the most heavily traveled days out of the year. According to USA Today, it was estimated that 44 million people travel during the long holiday weekend.

This year, of course, will look much different for a lot of us. Due to the pandemic, many people are opting for a safer scaled-back version of Thanksgiving dinner with just household members. Stores around the country were struggling to keep smaller turkeys in stock.

For those that do find themselves driving here in Maine, keep your eye out as you travel the interstate. The Maine Department of Transportation has bestowed another gift upon us in the form of their always creative and hilarious and at times, inspiring signs.

This time they're encouraging strength, safety, and buckling up.
