This Popular Maine Bar Serves Portland’s Best Homemade Turkey Dinner on Thanksgiving
Three Dollar Dewey's in Portland, Maine, will always be a city staple as it continues to be here for people.
Unsurprisingly, the awesome staff members have agreed to sacrifice their own holiday plans and work the restaurant for yet another Thanksgiving.
The employees that step up to work holidays deserve all the recognition in the world, so if you do happen to go out to Dewey's this Thursday, tip your bartenders and servers generously!
Emma Lown, the head chef of Portland's favorite pub is the creative mastermind that holds it all down in the kitchen (and truthfully is the only way this holiday could be made possible).
Emma is what makes Three Dollar Dewey's Thanksgiving plate so much more tastier than other bars. It's her love for cooking and serving only wholesome food that's the real secret ingredient. Her plates are like her resume, and every single one that she puts out counts.
As some of you may know, Three Dollar Dewey's has served as my home in the past for a couple of years as a bartender there, which is why (I think) I'm allowed to name her turkey plate the greatest in the area.
This cozy pub has given me some of my best friends and has shown me what real teamwork and grit truly mean. They didn't win Portland's Best Pub for two years in a row for nothing.
I've also worked two consecutive Thanksgiving holidays behind their bar where Emma was the chef and heart behind it all. I can personally warn you that her homemade turkey dinner is going to amaze you with not only taste, but how much it will make you feel like you're right at home.
Oh, and just in case you need any more convincing, here's Emma herself taking home 2 awards for Portland's Best Chef & Three Dollar Dewey's themselves winning Portland's Best Pub!
