According to WGME, thanks to the federal Cares Act, Mainers who receive unemployment will also get another $600 a week along with their regular benefits.

This windfall is welcomed, and it is also retroactive to when the legislation took effect on March 27th and the person's date of unemployment, the news station stated. The weekly $600 bonus will continue through July 25th for those who are eligible.

There's nothing to fill out, no further steps are needed if you are already collecting unemployment.
