Man Arrested for Leaving Death Threat Voicemails for US Senator Susan Collins
A man from New York state is under arrest after leaving threatening voice mail messages for US Senators Susan Collins of Maine and Chuck Grassley of Iowa.
WGME and WGAN are reporting that 74-year-old Ronald DeRisi of Smithtown, New York was arrested Friday.
News outlets are reporting that the senior citizen was calling to urge the senators to vote against supreme court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Authorities were able to use his voice and caller ID records to track him down.
