We hear so many stories about the bad kids out there...but a lot of teens have maturity beyond their years and are just plain great people! Some basketball players in Wisconsin proved just that by standing up for a cheerleader who has Downs Syndrome.

Desiree Andrews an eighth grader in Kenosha, Wisconsin, who has down syndrome, is on the school's cheerleading squad.  She was cheering at a middle school basketball game recently, when some students in the stands started making fun of her.  Luckily, three players from her school saw what was happening . . . Miles Rodriguez, Scooter Terrien, and Chase Vazquez.  So they stopped playing -walked off the court - and confronted the bullies and told them to stop.

Since then, Miles, Scooter and Chase have become friends with Desiree. The school is also officially renaming their gymnasium "D's House" - Desiree goes by the nickname "D".

See? Not all kids are spoiled entitled little twerps. Thanks to all the parents working hard to raise the Miles, Scooters, Chases and Desirees of the world.
