Topsham, Maine, Fair Adds Helicopter Rides for 2026 Season

The Topsham, Maine, Fair has some new additions for the 2026 season, with a major one being helicopter rides.

The fair had shared in May that it was looking into incorporating the unique flight experience, but nothing had been set in stone at the time.

Not too long after, the Topsham Fair revealed in a Facebook post that Pine Tree Helicopters would be offering "helicopter rides with an incredible view of the fairgrounds from above" during the August event. You "up" for it?

How Much Is a Helicopter Ride at the Topsham Fair in Maine for 2026?

A chance to see the Topsham fairgrounds from the sky sounds like incredible fun and a great visual, but you're probably wondering how much cash you'll have to shell out.

The Topsham Fair said in a Facebook post that it will be $50 per person for a helicopter ride during the event.

Just don't forget your camera for all those sweet shots you'll get of the fair from way high up.

When Is the Topsham Fair in Maine for 2026?

According to the Topsham Public Library, the first Topsham Fair was all the way back in 1856.

That's wild to think about, considering that means it was before the Civil War, the telephone, and the Wright brothers ever got a plane off the ground.

For its 2026 run, The Topsham Fair takes place Sunday, August 9, through Sunday, August 16, at 54 Elm Street in Topsham.

How Much Does it Cost to Go to the Topsham, Maine, Fair in 2026?

New for 2026 is the admission pricing for the Topsham Fair.

A Facebook post from the fair said that fair admission and the amusement rides are now priced separately.

That means if you just want to go to the fair but have no interest in getting on the Ferris Wheel, it's just $15 per person. That gets you into the Topsham Fair, where you can see livestock, agriculture, demonstrations, entertainment, competitions, the demolition derby, and more.

For rides? Individual ride tickets are $1.50 each, or you can get 25 tickets for $25 or 40 tickets for $40. An unlimited ride wristband is $20.
