Welcome to today's world.  If you can't make it to a show, the show will come to you, and this one stars Mikhail Baryshnikov.

Academy Award-winning Mikhail has had incredible success as a dramatic actor on stage, cinema, and television, making him the most widely recognized contemporary ballet dancer of our time.

Anyway, according to Yahoo Life, here's your chance to see him on stage at the Emerson Paramount Center live and in person, or online.

The show is called The Orchard, and premiered earlier this summer off-Broadway at New York’s Baryshnikov Arts Center. It's now here in Boston, having undergone changes to make it specifically a Boston-based play.  According to The Orchard Off-Broadway, you have 10 chances to see the performance in-person, along with 6 virtual performances.

Here's how Yahoo Life describes the play, which also stars Susan Hecht.  You may recognize that name from playing Gretchen Schwartz on Breaking Bad, or Susan Bunch on Friends.

“The Orchard” raises the curtain on the odd, fragile, and beautiful world of an aristocratic family longing for connection and grappling with the realization that their world, as they have always known it, is coming to an end. Faced with foreclosure and the loss of their beloved orchard, they see their lives dismantled before them. Hecht – who will reprise her role as landowner Ranevskaya in Boston alongside Mikhail Baryshnikov as Firs, her aged and loyal butler.
