Modular House Falls Off Tractor Trailer & Slides Into Moose Pond in Bridgton

The Bangor Daily News is reporting that traffic was disrupted in the Moose Pond area of Bridgton today when a modular home flew off of a tractor trailer and then careened towards the water.

The police were originally called to the scene at 11:31am, after the accident took place. The Bridgton police department shared this photo of the accident, showing the pre-fab modular home completely off of the trailer truck that was carrying it, and dangerously close to falling completely in the water.

Luckily, no injuries were reported.
