Have You Seen This Monster-Like Car on Interstate 295 in Maine?
There have been a handful of times I've been driving down Interstate 295 in Maine (on the southbound side) during weekday mornings at various points between Brunswick and Portland, and I've come across this car.
I don't even know how to describe it, because it's not like there's any one singular theme to this car, other than it looks like a mix of an art teacher at some Maine school telling her (I've seen a woman driving every time) students to go wild painting whatever they want on her car, and an ode to the old Nickelodeon cartoon Aaahh!!! Real Monsters.
If you've seen it, then you know the car I'm talking about. While the exact make and model don't really come immediately to mind (mainly because there's so much else going on with the car that I'm not even looking for a vehicle logo on it), it's almost like some combination of a mini station wagon/SUV/sedan-type deal.
But regardless of that, you'd know the car if you saw it because it's painted blue -- and not like airbrushed painted like a normal-looking car, I'm talking paintbrush painted. The entire background is blue, almost like a sky or underwater scene. And there is literally everything else painted on it.
The few times I've driven by it, I've seen a dinosaur, some fish, possibly some snakes, and a ton more -- but what stands out to me the most is the rear of the car. Even though it's a bit obstructed by a bike rack (I think -- again like I said, there's a lot going on to think of other details about it), it almost looks like one of the characters from Aaahh!!! Real Monsters is eating the license plate.
Do you know the car I'm talking about? Have you seen it? Better yet -- is it yours? For some reason, I need to know the story behind this ride!
