New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is using the Patriots plane to bring masks from China to the U.S.

WMTW reports that a Patriots plane is on its way to Massachusetts from China with much needed PPE, personal protective equipment.

The plane left China early this morning and is making its way to Logan International Airport with 1.2 million N95 masks - the most protective masks available, the news station reported. These masks are heading to healthcare professionals on the front line.

Robert Kraft and Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker will be there when the plane lands today in Boston, according to WMTW, when the masks will be moved by the National Guard to a stockpile in Marlborough.

Governor Baker, along with other governors including ours, are trying to get their hands on protective gear any way they can. But it pits states against states in a bidding war. Baker was eventually outbid for masks by the federal government and other countries.
