On News Center Maine's Morning Report Wednesday, meteorologist Todd Gutner shared what he called one of his biggest weather secrets.

Sharon Rose, Lee Goldberg and Todd were having their usual chit-chat at the news desk after coming back from commercial and leading into Todd's full forecast. The forecast was heavy rain Wednesday and more sun as we get closer to the weekend, but by the time you're reading this, you probably already know that.

The discussion went into the times that everyone sets their alarm clock for. I feel for these three because mine goes off at 3:30 a.m. and theirs goes off even earlier.

Todd said he thinks his goes off at 2:08. Sharon immediately said "Wait, wait, wait." and questioned Todd about why he would set it at such an odd time. Lee has his set at 2:18 because he has to have an 8. Maybe because he has eight kids? Sharon checked Lee's coffee cup to see what he was drinking.

The weird habit with numbers that both Lee and Todd have also worked its way into Todd's forecast, and he revealed what he called one of his biggest weather secrets. I love secrets like this! I love behind-the-scenes stuff and this sounded like a big one!

If you didn't watch the video, first, why not? Second, I'll tell you that Todd never uses an odd number on his temperature graphic for the seven-day forecast, except for a temperature ending in 5. If the high is 51, he lists it as 50. 55 is good to go, but 57 would become 56.

Lee also doesn't do odd numbers which is....odd.

Well, now you know. The high on Friday for Todd's forecast is 56 or 57. Take your pick.
