If you tend to get a rush when you get scared, then you most likely enjoy going into haunted houses. Or, you could be someone that likes to see their friends or family get scared.

Not going to lie, jump scares get me, and not in a good way. I am the type of person that I will go into "attack mode" if something jumps out at me, my hands go into karate poses (and no, I've never taken karate once in my life, so I have no idea how I think I am going to defend myself), but yet, I still go into haunted houses.

Well, if you enjoy haunted houses and all things spooky, then there is some good news. One popular Halloween attraction in Maine is ready to reopen this year.

The Kenduskeag Haunted House has been closed for the past two years due to Covid restrictions and concerns, however, they are ready to open its doors yet again this Fall.

According to the Kenduskeag Haunted House Facebook Page,

They are "planning to have the Kenduskeag Haunted House this year after 2 years off! We are having a planning meeting for those interested in volunteering on September 1st at the Cole Memorial Ball field at 6 PM. Come find out what it takes to scare the pants off someone!"

If you are wanting to visit this Fall, just know that there is normally a $5 admission fee. They will be open the last Friday and Saturday of October, from 7 PM until midnight.

The Kenduskeag Haunted House is located at the Cole Memorial Ball Field, 536 Kenduskeag-Levant Rd. in Kenduskeag.
