So many places and landmarks across America are beautiful, iconic, and historic.

So where do you begin to come up with those vacation choices or even more, those once-in-a-lifetime bucket list items?  I will say that I think there are plenty of must-see places in New England for any traveler.  However, when you're talking the country, I can see where that could be a tough list to create.

One of the bibles for travel enthusiasts is Fodors Travel Guide.  When its experts and travel gurus speak, you listen.  From the weird and unique to wonderful and simple, it covers everything.  This time, it was the top 10 must-see places in the country.

How to even narrow something so subjective down most definitely takes an expert, and that's exactly what happened to land Fenway Park on the list.  Love it!  Some of my best memories are at Fenway.

According to Travel Off Path, watching a baseball game, whether you're truly a fan of America's pastime, is an experience in most stadiums.  But there's nothing like Fenway Park, which found itself on this popular list.  Believe it or not, I've met plenty of New Englanders that have never been.  It's shocking, but true.

"Take me out to the ball game, take me out with the crowd" to the oldest baseball stadium in the country. Fenway definitely deserves to be on this list and is a must-see in Boston whether you live there or are visiting.  And if you can't make it to a game during baseball season, you can take a park tour all year round.  By the way, seeing the team play at home starts March 30 at Fenway Park!   You don’t have to love baseball to have fun, because it's Fenway.

I've seen several Red Sox-Yankees games as well as some not-so-hot games, and it's worth every bit.  I've sat in the hottest seats and way up high.  No matter how you see it, it's worth it.
