Patrick Dempsey Visits Mabel's Lobster Claw Kennebunkport, Maine

Patrick Dempsey is definitely a fan of Mabel's Lobster Claw in Kennebunkport, Maine.

The Lewiston native and actor has hit up the popular seafood spot on multiple occasions over the years, and he was back for some more delicious eats this June.

The restaurant shared a picture on Facebook of Dempsey, bag in hand, posing with some of the staff. I wonder what he got to eat?

Patrick Dempsey Visits Mabel's Lobster Claw in Kennebunkport, Maine

Dempsey was back in Maine this summer competing in the 4th Annual Drive Fore Kids Golf Tournament in Falmouth. He and several other celebrities played golf while raising money for The Dempsey Center and the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital.

So it's not overly surprising that he would want to visit some of his favorite Maine restaurants as well.

In the Facebook post, Dempsey and some of Mabel's staff flashed smiles at the camera on what looked to be a beautiful day.

And this is not his first visit either. On a number of trips to Mabel's, he's been kind enough to take photos with staff members. You can see some of them below.

It's a pattern that says as much about Mabel's as it does about Dempsey. There's something about the place that keeps bringing him back, likely from the service to the food.

According to its website, Mabel's, which has been around since 1953, serves up "quintessential seafood fare, including lobster rolls, fried clams, and steamed lobster."

The place has also gotten a number of accolades over the years, including earning "America's Best Lobster Roll" by Time Magazine.

Even the likes of Martha Stewart and the Bushes have popped in for a meal.

Clearly, Mabel's Lobster Claw is the type of place that draws people back over and over again, whether you're a local, just vacationing, or a Hollywood star.

For Dempsey, it seems like no visit to Maine is quite complete without a stop on Ocean Avenue. Can't really blame him, right?
