Guess what's back again! Na, it's not Slim Shady but could be, kinda? Well it's the annual Payson Park Summer Concert Series in Portland, Maine right near back cove.

Since there's so many reasons to be around back cove, I think the hills in-between all the baseball fields and tennis courts is the perfect little venue for Mainer's to do what Mainer's do.

2025 Payson Park Summer Concert Series Maine

Picture this: you just got done embarrassing yourself on your Casco Bay Sports baseball team you agreed to join with your friends while you were drunk.

You're a loyal person so you dedicate every Tuesday to a game with the team knowing damn well you're only going for the beer. It's okay, this is Maine, we're all doing it.

Starting today though, June 10, 2025 you can get excited about your Payson Park rec games because you can now catch a live concert directly after it for free! This is one of the cute things Maine does without being asked because we're awesome.

How long is the Payson Park Summer Concert Series?

Well, that's the sad part, there's only 3 Tuesday's this summer you'll be able to catch one.

Everytime I'm able to make a quick concert on a school night, it always feels extra special. You just look around and see all the families that brought their innocent children all dancing around together and it feels like a real community. It's nice not watching it on social media but actually throwing yourself into real-life activities!

Here's the full schedule for the 2025 Summer season, but knowing Maine I'm sure most of these will need rain dates hehe.
