Warning! You need a twisted sense of humor not to be offended.

The Facebook post by Moose Alley in Rangeley will test your sense of humor. A lot. I guess I am one twisted human because I was not offended in the least bit. But wow - Facebook exploded overwhelmingly against this post. Moose Alley in Rangeley feels like customers aren't holding up their end of good customer service. They have some do's and a ton of don'ts on their Facebook page.

If you don't know, Moose Alley has a Spirits Bar Grill & Cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have some amazing entertainment with state-of-the-art bowling, billiards, an arcade, and live music. You will want to go and Moose Alley wants you to make THEM glad you're there.

Don't call them.

They can't hear the phone,

But if we answer, make it a damn good question. 'Oh I was just seeing if you are open' is not a question. 'When do you close?' Will always be answered with, 'when are you coming?'

No running!!!!!

They warn that they are NOT Chuck E. Cheese. Don't let your kids run around because it's unnerving, unsafe and

...kills our vibe. Don't kill our vibe. No running!!!! I think I said that, but it bears repeating. We have given staff permission to trip your kids before they get tripped.

Don't ask where your food is!

Food is cooked to order and they do try to warn people when the wait for food could be a good 45 minutes to an hour.

So don't keep asking where it is. You should see our chefs in action. And we don't want to make them feel badly or disturb a train of thought as they work on a 15 item tab. (We told you how big he nacho platter is - but you still ordered 3 of them). If we appear to be checking on your food order we are usually taking a potty break or picking our noses.

Don't ask about their business.

They want to hear about you, they don't want to be bothered with questions about the business.

'Hey, must be great to be busy'. Or 'are you guys doing ok?' when it's not busy. These are not good conversation starters.

In conclusion, they DO want you to have fun, they just don't want you to do it at the expense of someone else's fun...including the staff at Moose Alley. They also pointed out that 'please' and 'thank you' are more appreciated than you'll ever know. And lastly

If you don't get our twisted humor best go elsewhere.

Facebook did NOT enjoy this post for the most part with hundreds commenting how they will never go to the place. I thought it was funny. I guess I'm a twisted person. Are you offended and taking this seriously? Or do you see the points they are making in an exaggerated way?
