Portland Neighborhood Worried About A Coyote Roaming The Streets

A coyote is on the loose in the Riverton area of Portland, Maine, according to WGME. Reporter David Singer posted a picture and video (below) on his Twitter page that was taken by Michelle Delgado, who lives in the neighborhood.

The coyote was last seen on Friday, and Delgado, along with other Riverton residents are concerned about their pets being outside, as per the news station. The animal seems to be comfortable around people, which should also be troublesome. However, it does not appear to have rabies.

Portland police are warning residents to stay away from the coyote.
