Rhum in Portland Appears to Be Building an Outdoor Tiki Bar Out of Pallets

Mainers are ingenious when they build things. We're good at taking something originally intended for one use and going a whole new way with it. How many skidder tires have you seen that are now flower planters?

Another thing we love to re-purpose are pallets. Pintrest is full of pallet projects. Rhum Tiki Bar and Restaurant on Cross Street in Portland seems to know this based on what they're building.

Anyone walking by their location has seen some new bricks laid down outside their door and a wall going up. Is that a bamboo tiki bar? Heat lamps?
