Ri Ra's St. Patty's Day Plunge Kicks Off Day Long Celebration

This Sunday is a day to celebrate all things Irish, green beer, live music, bangers and mash, and so much more.

Get your day started early at Ri Ra's Irish Pub for their 15th annual St. Patrick's Day Plunge. The dip happens at 5:30 am. This year Ri Ra has teamed up with the Portland Firefighter's Children's Burn Foundation and a portion of all proceeds that day will go to the foundation.

After a quick icy dip in the ocean it's time to warm up with their special $50 Irish Breakfast which includes a VIP early entry into the pub, a Guinness and Guinness glass. A silent auction will follow breakfast and there will be raffles throughout the day.

Then dance the day away with a full line up of bands including The Maine Public Safety Pipe Band from 9:30 to 10:00 followed by a performance from the Stillson School of Irish Dance Stepdancers at 11:45 a.m. Then, The Keenans Irish Duo take over from 10 to 1 and 2 to 5. And finally Kilcollins closes out the day long celebration from 6 to 9 and 10 to 1 a.m.
