Saco River Ice Dam Flooding Forces Road Closure In Fryeburg [VIDEO]

Steady rain and melting snow water fueled an ice jam along the Saco River in Fryeburg, forcing Police and Fire to close River Street Saturday morning.

The Fryeburg Fire Department posted this video on their Facebook page Sunday night. It shows drone footage of the ice dam on the Saco River and the flooding  that occurred on River Street as a result.
