Small Plane Crashes On I-295 Near Bowdoinham

The morning commute on I-295 today took an unexpected turn. A small Cessna plane crashed b the guardrail near Bowdoinham on the busy interstate. According to WGME, the pilot walked away from the crash.

Traffic going southbound on I-295 say delays for only a short period of time. Regular highway travel has resumed. As of this writing, no injuries have been reported.
