Stealth Destroyer Makes Unannounced Trip Through Portland Harbor [VIDEO]

The US Navy's new stealth destroyer the USS Zumwalt made an unannounced visit outside Portland Harbor.Uh, of course it was unannounced...its a stealth destroyer, not a 'give-a-heads-up' destroyer.

This thing looks like something out of sci-fi movie. It went past Portland Headlight making it's way up to the Ocean Gateway terminal area. It's the largest destroyer ever built for the navy at 15,000 tons and was built at BIW for 4.43 billion dollars.

It's making test runs in the Gulf of Maine. On radar it looks like a small fishing boat, not the 600 foot war ship it is. Check it out leaving BIW on Monday!
