Stunning Weekly Fireworks Display in OOB to Return for 2021

Do you ever pause and really think about the last year? About all that had changed. How we were stuck inside during our precious few warms months. That we missed so many Maine traditions like the annual trip to Funtown Splashtown, catching a Sea Dogs game, or even just enjoying the weekly fireworks in Old Orchard Beach?

2021 is certainly the summer to celebrate. Sure, things aren't completely back to normal but Funtown Splashtown will be reopening and the Portland Sea Dogs are even going so far as to open at full capacity beginning in June and you won't have to wear a mask while outside in the stands.

Just announced today, weekly fireworks will return to Old Orchard Beach! Announced by the Old Orchard Beach Chamber of Commerce, they will happen every Thursday night (weather permitting) at 9:45 pm starting on June 24th.

There's nothing like spending a day in Old Orchard Beach, playing in the sand, braving the ocean, spending the afternoon in the arcade and riding the Palace Playland rides, chowing down on some Pier Fries and window shopping, and then ending an epic beach day with some epic fireworks.
