Summer Visits Maine Again On Sunday As Temps Are Set To Crank Up
If you've already had enough rainy days, pumpkin spice and oversized sweatshirts and are once again longing for the days of summertime heat, good news, our old pal is coming to visit this Sunday.
Shared on Twitter by Robert LaRoche, the forecast models for Sunday seem to be coming together in agreement that Sunday is going to spread some serious heat across the state of Maine, especially for this time of year. Southern portions of the state can reasonably expect upper 70's and low 80's, with the central and northern parts of the state still unseasonably warm with temps in the upper 60's.
And while that extreme warm up probably only sticks around for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of next week could be warmer than normal, with highs in low 70's a real possibility.
So if you haven't closed the pool up for the winter, get your swim trunks ready. There's one more good grilling day left for 2018. Oh, and we get to watch football while doing it.
