I'm sorry, was that a harsh statement? I just feel very passionately about melty cheese sitting atop perfectly cooked wheat-based dough. I honestly have never met a slice of 'Za I didn't love.

I find pizza is one of those things that is pretty hard to screw up. But there are a few factors that separate the amateurs from the pies that are worth writing home about.

I'm no pizza connoisseur, but according to my taste buds, these are the three most important factors that contribute to a perfect slice of pizza:
