The All Inclusive Portland Gay Pride Parade is Back – Show Your Pride!

It's been a couple of years since the biggest gay pride event has taken over Portland. But 2022 is the year it's happening again. It's a comeback! I have been to a million gay pride parades put on by Pride Portland! The weather is always spectacular and the day is filled with so much love. Mark your calendar and clear your SATURDAY, JUNE 18. It all starts at 1 pm at Monument Square and so many floats and businesses will be on hand - including Q97.9 in the parade! Last year because of the cancellation we held our own parade. It was not as big, but it was a blast.

Pride Portland! knows how to really do it up. I have not been able to confirm if the gigantic mile-long rainbow flag will be there, but let's hope because it's gorgeous!

We will make our way from Monument Square to Deering Oaks Park where the real party begins with vendors, food trucks, solidarity organizations, live music, a beer garden a chem-free lounge too! This is all-inclusive, so please feel free to come if you just love a good time.

It's been a tough couple of years. Not just with Covid, but with a lot of divisiveness. If this one day can show the love and support for the LGBTQ+ community, then it will do more good than a hundred political speeches. Make sure you dress for the event. Wear lots of sunscreen and get ready to party.
