The Maine Cheese Festival Is Happening This Sunday In Freeport

This Sunday from 11am to 5pm is the annual Maine Cheese Festival at Wolfe's Neck Center in Freeport.

There will be more than 30 Maine cheesemakers on hand with samples to try and cheeses to buy while you enjoy live music from Maine's own Sara Hallie Richardson and Cumberland Crossing. There will also be cheese making demonstrations, cheese tastings, cheese pairings, food trucks on hand as well as local beers and wines.

They only have 2,000 tickets available this year ($15 in advance and $18 at the gate).

This festival is an annual fundraiser for the Maine Cheese Guild, a non profit trade organization which works to educate and support Maine cheesemakers.
