The Only Part of the Superbowl I Cared About Was the ‘Solo’ Teaser
Everyone is bummed out today, but can we talk about how awesome last night was?!
The trailer premier for Solo, I mean. The 45-second preview of the latest Star Wars story aired amidst Superbowl commercials with footage of a young Han Solo, and for a solid 43 seconds of it I thought it was a Bud Light parody. Once I realized it was legit I was beyond thrilled that we get to delve into the origins of Han after his heart-breaking demise in The Force Awakens.
The movie comes out Memorial Day and judging by the teaser, we'll get to see Han's bestie Chewbacca and the beloved Millenial Falcon, along with the ever-talented and ever-gorgeous Don Glover as a young Lando.
Who knows; maybe we'll find out why our favorite snarky hero never wants to be told the odds.
UPDATE: THE FULL TRAILER WAS RELEASED THIS MORNING AND IT. IS. GLORIOUS.
