We’ve all been there. We just want to enjoy a can of Mountain Dew or Seltzer and then our clumsy selves drop the can and then have to wait until we’re sure it won’t explode all over the place before opening it. It’s frustrating, especially when you’re very thirsty at that moment.

Well, what if I told you there was a way to enjoy that delicious carbonated beverage almost immediately?

Lori is a HUGE fan of the show Better Call Saul, the prequel series to Breaking Bad. In a recent episode, and with no bearing on the plot, and thus no spoilers, they did this very trick after one character accidentally dropped a bunch of cans. (See the clip here.)

After you shake up a can just set it on a table and spin it around. According to the scene, there’s something about the centrifugal force that pulls the bubbles in such a way that the beverage doesn’t explode all over you.

Did the trick work? The Q Morning Show put it to the test.

So there you have it! A little party trick for the next time someone accidentally drops or shakes a can. Just maybe practice first to be sure before showing off. And, if your trying to teach someone warn them ahead of time not to immediately open the can as I did! (What can I say? I got excited!)
