This Completely Weirded Me Out – What The Hell is It?

I have never seen this before in my life and I don't think it's a good thing...

That is some sort of plant (looks like alfalfa sprouts!) growing from the mysterious inbetween of countertop and the sink!!!

Again, it's a plant growing!!

When I saw this I immediately thought that somehow I was a bad person. I mean, PLANTS ARE GROWING UNDER MY COUNTERTOP! I clean under there too! But here they are!

Please, please, please tell me that these are oh so common and that I have nothing to worry about. Or, do I need to call someone? Ugh. How can I tell a professional that the only place in my house I have a green thumb is around my sink?!

I am equally horrified and fascinated. Someone make me feel better and tell me they have the same awesome plants!
