This Made Me Wonder, ‘What the Hell is Wrong with People?’ [POLL]

A South Carolina mother is under investigation by the Department of Social Services after writing “bad” on her son’s head, dressing him in women’s clothing and parading him around a Walmart store as punishment. What the hell is wrong with people? 

Police were called when they found the boy dressed in a tutu, women’s boots, women's underwear and a T-shirt. This 'mom of the year' wrote “bad” in marker on the back of his shaved head.

She said it was his punishment for fighting and making homophobic remarks. Police said it wasn’t acceptable and called the Department of Social Services.

Wow. I'm no parenting genius, and neither were my parents..but even I know this is ridiculous! But it happens a lot. Is it a 'at wits end' punishment? What do you think?
