Here are the Top 10 Karaoke Bars Downtown Portland, Maine
One of the most common questions I used to get as bartender in the Old Port was "Where can we go for karaoke around here? The answer was always East Ender, a tiny little bar near Duck Fat that despite its' small size would always be packed to the windows with people singing Celine Dion. The cool thing about Portland though is that there's multiple places just like this that offer karaoke, just not enough people know about them so here we go.

While East Ender seems to be the top dog of singing, here's 10 more yelp recommends for you:
1. Spring Point Tavern
2. Flask Lounge
3. Cocktail Mary
4. Tomaso's Canteen
5. Jake's Tavern
6. Mathew's Pub
7. Blackstones
8. Bayside Bowl
9. Arcadia
10. Foreplay
While I absolutely agree with this list of divey bars being the best ones to hit for a little karaoke night, their hours are most likely interchangeable. I'd search the days and times online before heading over to them with expectations but this is a great list to get you started.
Is Portland, Maine considered a fun town to visit?
Absolutely. The above list of fun bars you can sing at is yet another example of how Portland, Maine continuously serves as the underdog when it comes to fun. There was a list that Wallethub put out that ranked Maine as one of the most boring states in the U.S. which you can read me de-bunk that WILD statement by clicking here.
