If you are going to see a weird car in Maine, it's going to show up in Portland.

I'm lucky that Portland is where I work. I love this city (despite the taxes and parking). I often drive down Commercial Street in the summer to soak up the ambiance of the tourists taking over and Mainers being annoyed. It's also in the heart of Portland's Old Port, THE place to be seen. That's where I saw another weird car that I ended up following before having a lovely conversation with the owner.

That cute little three-wheeled toy car is the only one in Maine... currently. Then, just the other day, I saw this parked near One City Center! I literally shook my head and wondered out loud,

Is everyone in Maine having a mid-life crisis? Is this the closest to a motorcycle some are willing to go?

To each their own. But to me, these fancy weird cars seem like a giant LOOK AT ME! Don't get me wrong. If I won it in a raffle, I would take it. But I can't see spending money on it. I can't wait to see the next weird car in Portland, Maine.
