This Holiday Maine Woods Walk With Over 2 Million Lights is Pure Magic

How many times do you google something along the lines of "Christmas Light Fun", or "Holiday Light Show" when the holidays roll around? Well, here's a really pretty one you can add to your calendar that twinkles with over two million lights.

Located in Eliot, Maine, you'll find a 14 mile long woods walk called Winter Wonders, considered a "World class event that you have to experience", according to sandyhillmaine.com.

This year, the theme is "out of this world", complete with aliens, planets, and space (for the science nerds), creating a magical atmosphere as you walk through over two million twinkling lights.

The event goes for 36 nights between November 17 and January 1, and costs $13 a ticket (not bad).

Over the years, Winter Wonders has become the largest and most unique light show in New England, receiving tons of rave reviews on Yelp.com.

"The fee is fairly reasonable, about $13 to enjoy the lighted walkway, Tickets are purchased online, and entry is timed. There is plenty of parking and they do a good job directing traffic. You can spend as much time as you like, but we do the walk in less than 30 minutes or so. Nothing too scary here for the young ones".
