This is wild. I'm sure you've seen this circling the internet already about an old toy you may remember made in the 50's being discontinued and torn off shelves for being entirely too dangerous. It's called the Gilbert U-238 Atomic Energy Lab and the whole ordeal the internet is fretting over is the fact that it comes with literal, real uranium. A real chemical. It's a damn science kit guys. For kids. I'm no scientist, but I'm pretty sure that can't be safe for a kid who most likely will try putting it in their mouth without knowing any better.

Anyways, on the show this morning a lot of Mainer's called in to tell me that they remember this toy or have seen it growing up in one way or another. This tells me that New England at least would be interested in the fact that one of the uranium traps was just auctioned off for $13,000. According to TMZ, fewer than 5,000 of these explosively dangerous toys were ever made ... making this a super rare find.
