Yarmouth to Hold Gun Give-Back Day In June

According to WGME, Yarmouth is giving residents an opportunity to safely dispose of their guns if they wish to. The Gun Give-Back Day is a program that is already in place in Yarmouth, they just want to raise awareness about it as more businesses and individuals are rethinking gun ownership and safety. Not everyone is on board, some feel that destroying firearms is wasteful.

The Yarmouth Gun Give-Back Day will be from 10a to 2p at the Yarmouth Police Station. Residents can bring in unwanted firearms that will be destroyed at no cost. No appointment is necessary.
