If you have spent more than a few minutes speaking with anyone about the food / restaurants they love you have probably realized that people who love Chick-Fil-A REALLY love Chick-Fil-A.

The Chain Has Fans

Although I have seen it with some local restaurants, I have never before seen it happen with a chain restaurant.

For those who love the chain, we are lucky enough to have a couple locations in the State of Maine.  There is a Chick-Fil-A location in Westbrook and a location in Bangor.  Hopefully, one day, we'll see the chain add additional locations in the Pine Tree State.  Until then, fans of the food will have to make road trips to Eastern Maine or Southern Maine.  Or, will they?

The Food Trucks

Apparently, Chick-Fil-A also has food trucks!  These trucks are fully outfitted restaurants on wheels.  Not surprisingly, though, they do offer a menu that is more limited than the normal locations.  However, they DO serve up those chicken sandwiches.  And, for most people, that's enough.

The trucks are available for festivals, fairs, weddings, and other events.

Does Maine Have One?

Not yet.  The choice of getting a Chick-Fil-A food truck is up to the franchisee.  Right now, there are about 30 communities that have one.  The closest to us is in Westborough, MA

The website says:

Chick-fil-A Food Trucks are locally owned and operated by select Operators of Chick-fil-A® restaurants. Food Trucks often serve select products, including our Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich. The schedule, menu and rental availability vary by location. .

Hopefully, our Maine franchisees will take note of this and order one.

Think about it, how cool would it be if you had one of the Chick-Fil-A food trucks roll up to our summer concert series at Mill Park or the next wedding you attend?  Right?

Check out this video of when the location in Simpsonville, South Carolina got there food truck.
