It's always kind of fun when famous faces pop up in Maine.

Whether it's an actor like Seth Rogen or a YouTuber with over 5 million subscribers like Beard Meats Food, it's interesting seeing where they go to grab a bite to eat.

Will they get a chance to hit up some of the top-tier spots in the Pine Tree State or maybe one of your own personal favorites? They might even reveal a spot you've never even tried yourself, but now want to.

Recently, YouTuber Ryan Trahan made a stop in Maine and chowed down on a delicious lobster roll.

YouTuber Ryan Trahan Visits 50 States in 50 Days

Ryan Trahan is a popular YouTuber with over 20 million subscribers and has done a variety of challenges, including trading up a penny to get to a house, trying every seat on the most expensive airline, and staying in the world's loudest room.

His recent venture involves traveling to all 50 states in 50 days, finding the coolest Airbnb in America and all while trying to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The goal was $1 million, and as of day 32, nearly $5 million has been raised. How incredible is that!

YouTuber Ryan Trahan Visits Maine

On day 30 of Trahan's trip with his wife, fellow YouTuber Haley Pham, the two made their way to Maine.

The couple planned to stay at the one-of-a-kind Copper Fox Treehouse rental in Pownal, which, as the name implies, looks exactly like a fox head with a fox theme inside.

But before they headed there, they wanted to eat a lobster roll, something on Trahan's New England bucket list.

Seems pretty par for the course for people visiting the state, right? It's almost crazier not to eat a lobster roll when you stop in Maine.

As for where they chose? Turns out, it was Portland Lobster Company, and both Trahan and Pham seemed to really enjoy it.

It was a bit surprising that they went to Portland for their lobster roll and not tourist hot spot Red's Eats in Wiscasset or Bob's Clam Hut in Kittery, where Martha Stewart has visited, or even one of chef Andrew Zimmern's favorites, McLoon's Lobster Shack in South Thomaston.

Likely, they picked Portland as it was on the way to their Airbnb and Portland is the recognizable Maine location to people who haven't been to the state before.

Luckily, there are so many great places in Maine to get a lobster roll, so it's good that they were able to eat one they enjoyed. And Portland Lobster Co has even been named one of the top lobster roll spots in the area, so a pretty good spot, too.

And while it's too bad we didn't get to see Trahan explore more of Maine, it was fun seeing things like driving past the "Welcome Home" Maine sign and pretty humorous watching them "make a pit stop at a place called Shaw's."

All in all, it's great that another famous person got to enjoy Maine, eat a delicious lobster roll and keep raising money for a good cause.

Who knows? Maybe next visit, they'll get a chance to take in even more of the Pine Tree State's greatness.
