This weekend might not be a beach weekend, but it's always a food weekend.  Especially when some of the best food trucks in the Seacoast Region are joining the fun.

The Great New England Seacoast Food Truck Festival (whew, that's a long name) returns to Kittery, Maine on Saturday, May 28 from 11am - 6pm at the Old Navy Outlet, 375 Route 1, at the Kittery Premium Outlets.

This is a must visit event with so many vendors of all types, not just food and dessert trucks.

You can shop local crafts, artisans, vendor products, and specialty foods.  It's also a perfect family event with a Kid Zone.  Your kiddos can have fun with face painting, a bouncy house, henna tattoos, cotton candy, fresh lemonade, and Kona ice cones.

Seating is available, but feel free to bring a chair and blanket and spend the afternoon enjoying live music all day. The event is rain or shine, and let's face it, the temperatures this weekend won't be beachy, but will be fine for a foodie.

Love corn hole? Yes, they'll have that too, as well as door prizes from local businesses.

Looking for libations? Not a problem, because there's a beer tent serving local craft brews and summer cocktails.  Shop and sip like it's your job.

The best part is that the $5 admission fee goes to starting a middle school lacrosse program. The event is rain or shine, but leave the pooches at home, because no pets are allowed due to insurance restrictions.  Carry on and eat well.
